Rut Wattanasak
Project Manager | Senior Energy AnalystRut Wattanasak, BEMP, is a senior energy analyst and project manager at ENERGY STUDIO. He has extensive experience with high-performance buildings. He possesses a strong understanding of energy modeling procedures for both the LEED certification process and for energy code compliance. Previously, he was a LEED technical reviewer at a sustainability consulting firm where he performed reviews of the LEED Energy and Atmosphere credits for projects around the world.
Building upon his extensive experience as a LEED reviewer, Rut is responsible for project management, internal QA/QC process, and providing energy and daylight analysis for clients. Rut is passionate about Zero Net Energy (ZNE) buildings and firmly believes that the best candidates for achieving ZNE are existing buildings. At a previous firm, he led two existing facilities through a utility-led ZNE pilot program. Throughout these projects, he worked closely with the clients and design team to set appropriate goals that balance return on investment and energy efficiency to provide the greatest overall value.
